This site is dedicated to connecting all Rempel family researchers together, although I'm also very interested in Stobbe, Peters, & Kaethler family researchers as well. These four surnames are those of my grandparents.

From this site, you'll find links to message boards, all known (to me) progenitors of Rempel lineages, an exploration of the origin of the Rempel name, my own lineage, and whatever other Rempel resources come to my attention.

If you have Rempels in your ancestry and you'd like me to place a link to your site - I'd be most pleased to do so. If you find errors, feel free to let me know. But, please know that I manage a large number of webpages and receive a lot of e-mail. Response times can be quick or very delayed depending on what else is demanding my attention!

If you're interested in general Mennonite family history, there are lots of resources in online, on Cds, in print, published in books, and available in Archives. Take advantage of another site that I've created to learn of such resources: www.mennonites.ca. It also contains links to graduate theses and centres of Mennonite historical research (libraries, archives, etc.).

And, if you have Alberta roots or live in this province, consider becoming a member of the Mennonite Historical Society of Alberta. I'm an active volunteer with that group and know that interested researchers are always welcome.
